Nutrition plays a key role in the brain’s cognitive ability. Brain healthy nutrition may also contribute to the brain’s resistance to cognitive decline. During our session, we prepare recipes that include healthy food choices while educating members on the nutritional benefits of the ingredients. The nutrition portion of our session is also a social activity, as we prepare a brain healthy snack in an interactive environment.
When nutrition is combined with our other three concepts – socialization, brain training, and exercise – it may lead to significant improvements in well-being and quality of life.
